My name is Amar Kisoensingh, 20 years old, living in Zoetermeer, The Netherlands and I attend the Rotterdam University Of Applied Science studying Computer Science.
I was born on March 8th, 1998 in The Hague. I moved to Zoetermeer when I was four. My parents are born in Surinam and moved to The Netherlands.
My greatest qualities are giving and receiving feedback, creative thinking and working organised.
I find it incredibly fun to think up and realize unique solutions.
I also like to read, namely fantasy.
Now I'm focused on getting my bachelor's degree. After my bachelor's degree, I intend to continue my studies. When I was little, I wanted to become an astronaut. Now that I am older, I have a better idea of how it all works and what my possibilities are. I don't know exactly how I am going to do or what I am going to do, but I am sure that I will work in the space sector to give something back in a way that I know I am competent.
“I fear living a life where I could have accomplished something and didn't. That's what I fear. I don't fear death.” - Neil deGrasse Tyson
My personal development
Since I'm attending the Rotterdam University Of Applied Science, I've become more attentive and independent. Now that I've learned to code, I've also become more confident in developing software and working on projects.
At primary school I already knew that I wanted to work with computers, so the choice for computer science had already been made. With technology you can do a lot if you know how to do it, that is why I have chosen computer science.
